Water Oak Bakery, turned Bakery & Café, began as a home-based passion for our client, and our goal was to translate that story into a space that feels as heartfelt and inviting as the sweets it serves. Inspired by the charm of a modern French patisserie, the design blends elegance with whimsy. Clean lines mixed with delicate details. Our team opted for a cool palette consisting of cobalt blue, blush pink, and seafoam. Warmth was added to the palette through carefully selected brass light fixtures and hardware details. Custom banquettes were designed to add comfort and subtly guide guests through the space. One of the most rewarding aspects of the project was the opportunity to collaborate with both international vendors and local talent—from a handcrafted light fixture sourced from Portugal to a hand-painted mural by a Houston-based artist, every detail was chosen to tell a story & bring people together.
