The Code is a boutique hotel operated by AvantStay in Austin, Texas and features local coffee shop Cuvee Coffee in its lobby. The interiors were designed to reflect the city’s progressive and iconic creative culture. The spaces bring a unique perspective through layered materiality, curated pieces, bespoke furnishings, and custom millwork at every turn. Tailored, inviting, and energetic, the interiors are designed as a place to work, gather, retreat, and experience the heart of South Austin. Sophisticated materiality, vintage character, and modern craftsmanship come together to create a timeless sense of place rooted in artistry and design.

The design for Cuvee Coffee at The Code received the 2026 Restaurant & Bar Design Award for the category of Cafe.
