The Fredericksburg cottage began its new life as a two‑bed, one‑bath gem steeped in Texan charm and European elegance. We honored its history by preserving window valences, original shutters, and antique hardware, then wove in bespoke flourishes - a custom barley twist legged kitchen island set against Portuguese‑inspired hand painted tile counters and backsplash, a bespoke brass‑foot scalloped marble sink in the bathroom, and a custom bullnose marble fireplace in the living room, and a cozy canopy in the bedroom - each piece meticulously crafted for its place. Beyond the threshold, an empty backyard was reimagined into an outdoor haven, complete with a fireplace lounge, cedar pergola, al fresco dining pavilion, and a wine barrel inspired cowboy pool. The result is a timeless, one‑of‑a‑kind retreat where every detail, inside and out, tells a story of thoughtful craftsmanship and refined design.
