The Rainey House draws inspiration from the iconic year of 1969—the same year the owners purchased the property, just as the moon landing captivated the world. We wanted to create a space that combined the excitement of that era with a fun, retro disco vibe, resulting in an Apollo Disco theme that celebrates both space exploration and the lively energy of the '70s.
A key feature is the giant UFO-shaped disco ball, floating above the bar, which serves as a playful nod to the moon landing and the era's fascination with space. The custom light beam bar shelving adds to the celestial feel, casting a soft glow throughout the space and acting as a striking focal point.
The Rainey House is a celebration of the bold spirit of 1969, combining nostalgic elements with a futuristic twist, creating a vibrant and memorable space on historic Rainey Street.
